My job was a small job but I still received great customer service. My insurance company was involved and they worked very well with them, kept all of us informed and did a fantastic job. Joe and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job on my outdrive. He fixed an issue that another company had messed up. Even through it was a small job he treated me as if it was a major rebuild. He kept me informed at all times and even sent me pictures and a viedo of the repair. No doubt I have found my boat mechanic for the future.

Joe and the entire team at Bullet Proof Marine Service are amazing! Before purchasing my 1993 Regal Commodore, I hired a different mechanic to assess the engines. His assessment gave me no cause for alarm, and indicated that the port side engine needed a carburetor adjustment. After my purchase, it became clear that the engine troubles were much worse. BPMS quickly determined that port side engine was blown and needed to be replaced. Joe and his team worked quickly and efficiently to replace the engine, identified several additional issues with the drive train, and created a repair priority list and detailed cost estimate. BPMS far exceeded their original scope of work, and did not charge extra. In fact, they repaired several hull divots while the boat was out of the water at no cost. BPMS provided all parts at their cost, without a markup. That alone saved me thousands of dollars! My 27 year old boat now runs like new! Joe was very communicative regarding the work on my boat. He charged me at cost for several items and went as far as sending pictures of receipts. Boat ran great after a few days with him. Will definitely be using him for service and any other work as necessary.

I had no idea what I was going to do about it. I made a few calls and the cost to raise the boat in the traditional way was quoting out at astronomical costs. I was referred to Joe at Bullet Proof Marine, and he came to see me at the boat within minutes. Joe was kind, understanding and positive. He found an alternative solution to raise the boat at a very reasonable price and I agreed. Joe and his team worked all night and into the next day to get the job done. It is nothing short of a miracle that they got the boat up, cleaned up and Joe was always kind and patient about everything. Its hard to give a higher recommendation to Joe and Bulletproof. They not only do a great job, but they care and you feel it. Its not easy to find that these days, and especially now, in the middle of a global pandemic, it is priceless to hear the words "its going to be ok" when things are falling apart around you. Run... don't walk to this company if you have boating needs. You not only get their talent, but you get their commitment, knowledge and kindness at the same time. As part of my divorce settlement, my ex-wife received all the cash, house, and retirement benefits while leaving me with all the debts and a broken boat. As an act of defiance, I wasn't going to liquidate the boat and give my ex and her sleazy lawyers the satisfaction of breaking my spirit, so I went to work. During the legal process, the boat "sat" for nearly four years, with no maintenance. After the divorce, I interviewed four mechanics; all of them didn't have the time, the expertise and know-how to get the boat back in operating condition, except for Joe. It took several months to complete the entire restoration. From the engine, cooling and exhaust system, fiberglass and gelcoat repair, new carpet, new electric head, fresh and waste water systems, lights and electronics and final detailing, Joe had the knowledge, professionalism, and can-do-attitude to get the boat back in pristine condition.
